In Ana's class, she sat next to Lily, one of her friends, and Ella. She whispered to Ella: "Can I talk to you at free-time today?"
"Of course. Why? Can I bring someone?" asked Ella
"I will tell you at free-time and no you can not bring anyone. It's my brother's orders."
"Has everyone finished copying the spelling?" asked Miss Clara, Ana's teacher.
"Yes" said everyone.
"Okay, you may all read. You've all been very good so far." she said.
"Just come and find me at free time. Okay?" Ana said to Ella.
"Okay" said Ella.
At free-time, Ella and Fred went to find Ana and Julian.
"Hey Julian, they're coming" Ana said, waving.
When they arrived, Julian said: "Before we begin ..."
"What are you guys doing?" said a voice behind them. They turned around and saw their friend Amy.
"Oh, we're just having a meeting" said Julian.
"Can I join?" asked Amy.
"No. It's a special one that only we can hear" replied Fred, going to Julian's side.
"Yeah!" said Ana and Ella together.
Amy huffed and turned around to play with Angela, another friend of Ana and Julians'.
"As I was saying ..." continued Julian and told Ella and Fred about the new pictures and the winking stuff.
"Is this true?" asked Ella.
"Yes" said Ana. "We saw it with our own eyes!"
"Cool" said Fred.
"What we were thinking is that you guys could have a sleepover with us on Saturday when our parents are not here and see for yourselves." said Julian.
"Where are your parents on Saturday?" asked Fred.
"Oh they are going to Washington DC for the weekend to work to help other people making inventions or something like that" said Ana.
"Maybe you should ask your Mum and Dad about it" said Julian.
Just then, the school bell rang to finish free-time. Ana ran to go back into school and Fred turned to go after her. He turned back to Julian. "We'll ask our Mum if we can. I promise." he said and ran after Ella.
Ana suddenly said "I forgot that Maddy, our babysitter, was coming to take care of us on the weekend."
"It's okay, she is very nice. She lets us do anything and go anywhere we want. Remember?" said Julian.
"Oh yeah!" said Ana, remembering the last time she came. She let them go out all by themselves.
They went indoors to their classrooms to have lunch.
"Okay everyone, time to finish eating, and we will do spelling" said Mr Jacoby, clapping his hands. "Then we will play some games based on math. Then we will do real math."
"Oh man!" said Julian.
"How old are you Julian?" asked his teacher.
"Thirteen" Julian replied.
"You should do hard work when you're a teenager!" said Mr Jacoby. "You don't want to go to the eight-year-old classes with your sister do you?"
"No" said Julian.
"Good. Clare, hand these out please. It's spelling activities."
Clare stood up, took the activities and passed them out.
